CEF of NAL Prayer Ministry

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8

Prayer is the foundation of ministry. It's also a beautiful connection given by God to His children for us to grow closer to Him and in Him. 

James 5:16 tells us that the prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much; in some versions it says that the prayer of a righteous person has great power. Prayer is the foundation of this ministry, and powerful prayers are needed to accomplish much as God guides and works. On behalf of the children, volunteers, and staff, we ask you to join us as prayer warriors in the spiritual battle for the souls of children and their families.

Prayer Zoom

Each week, we gather on Zoom to pray for the NAL chapter, the children & their families, and each other.
We'd like to invite you to join us on Thursday nights 6:45pm-7:15 for a time of prayer. You are welcome to join as often as you're able and stay as long or little as works in your schedule that night.

Thanking God for...

  • taking our feet to boys & girls who needed to hear about Him this summer. Many kids were hearing of Noah & Zacchaeus for the first time.

  • 15 5-Day Clubs where 426 kids heard the Gospel, 2 were counseled for salvation & 4 for assurance, & many spiritual questions were answered.

  • health, safety, & strength through long hours & about 2,500 miles - including a flat tire on I565!

  • providing ministry partners like you who served by teaching clubs, faithfully praying, & cheerfully giving to meet our need of $11,250.

Trusting God...

  • to send teachers to Good News Club Training Saturday, August 15 in Decatur & on Zoom August 29

  • to form new & to grow continuing Good News Clubs to tell more boys & girls about Jesus.

  • to help GNC teams as they begin clubs & that God will bring kids that need Him.

  • to call 4 new CEF committee members willing to lead in areas of prayer, ministry, finance, or personnel.

  • to call a ministry coordinator to reach more kids in counties all over North AL.

Wackiest place we taught a club: A RAQUETBALL COURT

It was raining, & it was the only room left at the YMCA. Just imagine...the echo with children, it was so cold every child huddled, shaking in their shirt, and then one of the lights began blinking. Our God is so powerful-He worked in kids’ hearts in spite of it all!
