CEF of NAL Prayer Ministry

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8

Prayer is the foundation of ministry. It's also a beautiful connection given by God to His children for us to grow closer to Him and in Him. 

James 5:16 tells us that the prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much; in some versions it says that the prayer of a righteous person has great power. Prayer is the foundation of this ministry, and powerful prayers are needed to accomplish much as God guides and works. On behalf of the children, volunteers, and staff, we ask you to join us as prayer warriors in the spiritual battle for the souls of children and their families.

Prayer Zoom

Each week, we gather on Zoom to pray for the NAL chapter, the children & their families, and each other.
We'd like to invite you to join us on Thursday nights 6:45pm-7:15 for a time of prayer. You are welcome to join as often as you're able and stay as long or little as works in your schedule that night.

Thanking God for...

  • 16 Good News Clubs (GNC) that started in Sept, reaching 446 children with 2 believing in Jesus!

  • 4 more GNC’s starting in Oct.

  • over 270 children & their families hearing about Jesus at the Madison St Festival & receiving Gospel bags.

  • those who volunteered, assembled Gospel bags, &/or made hundreds of Gospel bracelets for the bags for the Madison St Festival (MSF)!

  • even more new volunteers eagerly joining GNC’s to tell kids of God’s love for them & His rescue plan.

  • a ministry partner who has pledged to match funds up to $20,000 by year end to encourage others to grow in giving.

Trusting God...

  • to grow & protect the seeds of the Gospel shared at the MSF.

  • to provide a team from many local churches that will share the Gospel with children & their families while making bracelets. There are many open doors at elementary school Fall Festivals, community Easter Egg Hunts, & other community events.

  • to call 4 of His people from our 14 counties to join the CEF of NAL committee to work together & lead in areas of prayer, ministry, finance, or personnel.

  • to open doors & take our feet to ones that need to hear about Him.

 

Who will try teaching the Bible Lesson one time?

My heart was leaping for joy when one by one everyone on the NEW Monrovia Good News Club team volunteered to teach Bible lesson - one even committed to teaching the missionary story each week. Sometimes we forget just how scary & how nerve-racking it can be to try something new. God is our Helper, & I am praising Him for all who are growing their faith by courageously obeying Him by sharing the Gospel & teaching His Word even when it is scary.

Will you please come to the Father with us in praise of what God had done and in prayer for the children in our 14 counties: Colbert, Cullman, Dekalb, Etowah, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marion, Marshall, Morgan, and Winston?
