CEF of NAL Prayer Ministry

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8

Prayer is the foundation of ministry. It's also a beautiful connection given by God to His children for us to grow closer to Him and in Him. 

James 5:16 tells us that the prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much; in some versions it says that the prayer of a righteous person has great power. Prayer is the foundation of this ministry, and powerful prayers are needed to accomplish much as God guides and works. On behalf of the children, volunteers, and staff, we ask you to join us as prayer warriors in the spiritual battle for the souls of children and their families.

Prayer Zoom

Each week, we gather on Zoom to pray for the NAL chapter, the children & their families, and each other.
We'd like to invite you to join us on Thursday nights 6:45pm-7:15 for a time of prayer. You are welcome to join as often as you're able and stay as long or little as works in your schedule that night.

Thanking God for...

  • 34 new children who heard the Gospel in a GNC, totaling 733! 

  • 2 Easter Party Clubs set so far.

  • the teens He will call to CYIA to be trained & serve Him this summer in North AL.

  • allowing us to take the Go & Tell kids’ Gospel training to Decatur Heritage students during 5 chapels in April & May.

  • a new church partnership with Lindsay Lane to form a team & start a new GNC at Sugar Creek Elementary in the fall!

  • positive principal feedback of the impact of GNC’s.

Trusting God to...

  • call local churches to form teams of adults & teens to be trained & reach out to children & families through summer 5-Day Clubs.

  • send at least 2 teens from this area to be equipped & serve in CYIA/summer ministry. 

  • guide staff as they pull together CYIA/summer ministry details, plan training classes & devotions, & build relationships with teens.

  • provide 3 new committee members to guide the chapter in areas of personnel, ministry, prayer, or finance.
