Madison Street Festival - You can make an impact!
Give kids a reason to celebrate this October by sharing how they can have a relationship with God! You can make an impact in the largest generation in history through a great one-day Gospel outreach event. Volunteers have come away with eagerness, excitement, and equipment to share the Gospel with kids in their churches and communities.
What is this event?
The Madison St Festival! Hundreds of children are expected to attend with their families on October 4th (1st Saturday of the month). This is an excellent opportunity to plant Gospel seeds with many children and families! You can be part of this exciting, fast-paced outreach day. You can paint faces and/or help kids make Gospel bracelets, all while sharing the best news in the world - the Gospel!
Last year, volunteers just like you shared the Gospel with 231 children and gave them Gospel goodie bags. An additional 460 children received Gospel goodies bags.
Shifts are only 1-2 hours.
I want to make an impact! Where do I start?
For current volunteers who have been trained, you only need to have done your yearly Ministry Compliance form that you do for GNC/CYIA.
For current volunteers without training, we will get you ready with a short training session. You will also need to have done your yearly Ministry Compliance form.
For NEW or previous volunteers, you will receive free training (or a brief refresher) to equip you and a CEF background check at no charge to you. It can take about 2 weeks to be ready to serve.
