Together...We can GO to the Ends of North AL
/Together...We can GO to the Ends of North AL
In North AL, over 1,000 children heard the Gospel this school year. YOU can join us in reaching more children & families throughout ALL our 14 counties. There are about 125,000 elementary children in our chapter. We are asking God to call Ministry Coordinators to work alongside churches in each of our counties to effectively develop ministries to reach children. We are asking God to add one Ministry Coordinator to our staff each year. YOU can PRAY, GIVE, & GO to take the Gospel to the ends of North Alabama!
Leaders Building Up the Church
Marilyn & countless others like her are examples of leadership that we are seeking in a Ministry Coordinator. These leaders have reached children in their areas by developing & encouraging multiple Good News Club® (GNC™) teams. They have pursued church partnerships to connect & minister to children & their families. Many times they have talked with principals, pastors, teachers, & volunteers to begin GNC™s & keep them going.
Just think: Children & families can hear about Jesus to the “ends” of North AL with Ministry Coordinators like these leaders in our 14 counties.
GNC Stories
“What??!! God knew me before I was born?” With wide eyes, S. was hearing this truth about God for the first time in GNC.
“Does God love my Mama?” After listening to her gut wrenching story, B. heard about God’s love: for ALL, everlasting, PERFECT.
“Does God forgive me?” K. asked this over & over, very concerned about her life. God’s promises of “Confess...He is faithful...to forgive” & God does NOT keep a “record of wrongs” brought K. peace.
Developing Leaders & Growing God’s People
As a teen, Kate served in Christian Youth In Action® (CYIA™) for several summers. CYIA™ gave Kate the tools to clearly share the Gospel & provided her with the opportunity to see God working through her & other teens as they served as local summer missionaries. Kate said that teaching 5-Day Clubs® helped her to see her gift in teaching & is the reason she became a teacher.
Kate graduated college last year & is now teaching at a local school. Her heart for ministering to children stirred her to begin working to start a GNC™ at the school where she teaches to reach, connect, & minister to the kids & families there. Because of her passion to take the Gospel to kids around her, she helped at Party Clubs this Spring & has volunteered to teach 5-Day Clubs® with us for part of her summer! We are thrilled to minister alongside Kate & are excited about how God continues to work in & through her.
CYIA™ is about building into youth like Kate & developing the leaders of tomorrow now.
Through God’s Leaders…
This school year, God touched 1,375 lives & hearts as leaders ministered in Bible clubs & events for kids.
21 GNCs™: 786 children were evangelized & discipled, 13 children were counseled for salvation & many more counseled for growth & faith questions, & teams worked to establish them in local churches.
5 Party Clubs™: 65 children were brought the Good News of Jesus.
1 5-Day Club™: 24 children were reached with the Truth.
1 Go & Tell event: 200 children were prepared to tell others about Jesus.
Madison Street Festival: 300 children heard the Gospel & were given Gospel bags along with 400 more receiving the Gospel bags.
Last summer, your generosity & the Lord’s provision allowed us to reach 311 children in 12 5-Day Clubs™ & 2 Spanish Party Clubs™. 5 children believed in Jesus & many others asked big questions!
Building into Lives of Young Leaders & Kids
CYIA™ is a unique summer ministry training program that disciples, equips, & builds into teens to grow them as leaders to boldly share their faith as they teach local Bible clubs to kids during part of their summer with other teens, staff, & volunteers.
CEF of North Alabama is raising $11,250 by June 30, 2026, to fully fund the Summer Ministry of Christian Youth In Action® and 5-Day Clubs®. After a 7-day missions training camp with other CYIA™ teens from across the state, teens, volunteers, & staff will teach 5-Day Clubs® (Bible clubs) in our area for 4 weeks in June and July, usually 3 clubs every week.
Here are some ways you can partner with us to fund the mission:
$450 sends one teen to CYIA™ training camp (7 days) and covers his or her teaching kit & materials.
$375 covers the cost of one day of 3 clubs of summer ministry: materials, staff, and travel.
$1,875 covers the cost of one week of 3 clubs of summer ministry: materials, staff, and travel.
Please join us in praying for the teens, staff & volunteers, & the children as we endeavor to make Forever Followers of Jesus this summer!

Meet Zoe!
This is her first year to serve in CYIA™. Zoe has been involved in track & swimming, but what she enjoys most is working with children. She loves helping with children's church on Sundays!
Zoe is the youngest of four & even hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon with her family when she was only 8 years old. She graduates in May & is deciding whether she is going to pursue more school or go into the workforce in the fall. Zoe’s diligence & determination will help her become a great leader
Jerusalem loves teaching kids about God!
She plans to make time in her work schedule to teach 5-Day Clubs® this summer. We can’t wait to see how God continues to develop this young leader!
